The Charity Cycling Challenge was our first flagship event, turning a passion for cycling and fitness into meaningful support for the Connecticut community. This event brings together riders of all skill levels to raise vital funds for local non-profits and community initiatives.
By blending physical activity with philanthropy, the Charity Cycling Challenge fosters a spirit of camaraderie and civic pride. Whether you are a competitive cyclist or a weekend enthusiast, the mission is simple: pedal with purpose to improve the lives of neighbors across the state.
The Swing Fore Special Olympics CT Golf Tournament is an annual fundraising event established in 2013 to support local Special Olympics Connecticut programs. While our inaugural event hosted 90 participants and raised $6,000, we have grown significantly; we now expect 144 golfers and over 200 total attendees, including volunteers and participating athletes.
To date, we have raised more than $100,000 for SOCT, with our current annual average exceeding $16,000. These funds-generated through registration, sponsorships, auctions, and raffles-allow local chapters to purchase equipment and uniforms, as well as cover vital training and travel expenses.

Register Now Brochure (PDF)Established in 2011 by, the Bowl-A-Rama is a premier family-oriented fundraising event. Each year, the Board of Directors selects a local beneficiary, often choosing organizations that have personally impacted the lives of our board members or their families.
The event offers two hours of bowling-typically spanning two full games-along with shoe rentals, pizza, and unlimited soda. Guests enjoy dedicated table service throughout the afternoon, and prizes are awarded to top-scoring adults and children. While the Bowl-A-Rama focuses on a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere for its 80-120 participants rather than high-stakes fundraising, it remains a vital tradition that provides consistent, meaningful support to worthy local causes.
The Raise Your Glass wine tasting event serves as a sophisticated and spirited cornerstone of the Charity Cycling Challenge's fundraising calendar. Designed to bring together community members, and sponsors, the evening offers an opportunity to support a noble cause in a relaxed, elegant setting. Guests are treated to a curated selection of fine wines, often paired with artisanal appetizers, spirits and beers, desserts, samples of choclates, olive oils and more, while learning more about how their contributions directly impact the lives of those served by the organization's mission. It's an evening where the focus shifts from the intensity of fitness and excercise to the warmth of shared goals and collective generosity.
Beyond the tasting notes and pairings, the event acts as a vital platform for storytelling and connection. As glasses are raised, attendees hear firsthand accounts of the challenges faced by the community and the tangible progress made possible through the cycling challenge's efforts. The atmosphere is typically bolstered by gift auctions, live presentations and music, ensuring that while the mood is celebratory, the underlying purpose-driving meaningful change-remains at the heart of the night. Whether you are a connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, the event provides a meaningful way to contribute to the cause.
